Nebraska Road Trip!

I just got back from Nebraska. We went to see my great-grandma fast in the nursing home.
We drove there in my aunt's van packed full of luggage, snacks, drinks, my Aunt Jill, my Mom and my three cousins M an 8 year old, G a 7 year old and C a 3 year old!
My Nana, Aunt Katelyn, Uncle Scott and baby cousin E followed in my Nana's car.
We also got to explore my Nana's childhood home which is now abandoned/in ruins.

 The first photo is of a barn, the second is a broken window and tattered curtins, the third the house and the fourth the garage.
There were 2 more buildings, one was another barn. The other was a stable.

Wonderful Weekend

This weekend was absolutly fantastic! Friday Mommy, Daddy and I went out to my grandparents pond to roast hotdogs and marshmallows. Yesterday was the normal Saturday errands, Then today Mommy went to work so me and Daddy went out for lunch at Carlos O kelleys (YUM!), after that we went to my grandparents house so I could drive my go-cart in their fields. Right now Mythbusters is on and they're seeing if bamboo could grow through a person's chest as a matter of torture! Yuck!

Continued From See Ya Later Alligator

So starting from where I left off. Yesterday Mom and I went looking for alligators by the track. There is a pond at each end and a drainage ditch by one. We looked in the ditch and sure anough there was a 4 to 6 foot long alligator! Half of him was out of the water so we could see his head and most of his back! Then this afternoon Mom and I went to see if he was still there sunning himself and he was! Along with a nutrea rat. I'll post pictures but right now it's 10:45 and past bedtime

Here's something that you need to know before reading the rest of this: I am posting this from a hotel in southern Louisiana! It's like summer here. Last Wednesday, at 7:30 a.m. we left for Louisiana and arived that night.
